Our Story
Several years ago, my
family and I went on vacation to Florida. We spent endless hours looking for souvenirs that were native to the
area, only to come home with a box of Key Lime Patties that were distributed
out of Pocasset. Living in a seaside resort
destination, I asked myself, "Is this what our visitors are finding in Chatham?"
A couple of years later, Sue and I were shopping downtown (as we always shop local) and we jokingly said that we should open our own gift shop that specialized in New England made products. Sue was on board with the idea and a year later Millie's of Chatham General Store opened its doors.
We are located at 1291 Main Street (Route 28) in a marketplace called The Cornfield in Chatham, MA; the only Cape Cod town to be named a "Historic Destination" by The National Trust For Historic Preservation.
Our hours are as follows:
Sunday 11:00 am to 5:00 pm
Monday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
Tuesday Closed
Wednesday thru Saturday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
